Wild horses, Stolovi mountain
The Stolovi mountain massif, which rises above Kraljevo, the Žiča monastery, Mataruška Banja, the medieval town of Maglič, and the Ibar gorge, is known for their beautiful glades, fragrant daffodils, and another unusual attraction, a herd of about fifty semi-wild horses, which are on this mountain for more than three decades. Wild horses are a real rarity in Europe, and in Serbia, they are found near the Vlasin Lake and on Stara Planina, but in terms of numbers, only Stolovi can rightly be called - the mountain of wild horses.
Horses were first brought to the mountain during the summer by the owners who lived at the foot so that they would have less work to do with them. The horses would move freely and have enough food. As time passed, the peasants left their horses for longer periods. The animals slowly became independent and became semi-wild. They no longer need humans to survive. From year to year, their number increases.
Daffodils are also one of the symbols of this mountain. When the snow disappears from the slopes of the mountain, it turns white again with countless wild daffodils. They bloom at the end of May, which is the best time to visit this mountain.

One of the best ways to get to know Mountain Goč is to hike through its fairy-tale landscapes. Along the way, you will come across many medicinal plants, meadows full of the most diverse field flowers, enjoy the smell of pine trees and the shade of centuries-old beech trees. There are five well-marked walking trails: yellow, green, brown, blue, and red. The trails are suitable for those with less fitness, as well as for fans of long mountain walks.

Wintering on Goč is an increasingly popular option for all skiing enthusiasts, but also for those who want to learn to ski. On the spa side of Goča, there are large paths and small paths. The big trail is 1500 m long, and there is a cable car next to it. Right next to the bigger track is a mini track where the ski school operates. Night skiing is also possible on Goč, as some of the trails are illuminated.
